Radiators don't last forever, and no matter how well built a car is there are somethings that will need to be replaced. If it was the original radiator, its done its job well and long enough.
Instead of refilling your engine with oil all the time, find out what is causing it to consume so much oil. The solution may be cheaper than getting a new engine, or even a rebuilt engine. Maybe you have a leak in the oil pump seal which is only a couple of hundred dollars to fix, and your car should run fine. If you keep topping off oil and don't do oil changes, you may damage yor engine with a lot of sludge build up. If it performs fine, maybe all you need is give it a little TLC, my car has 197,000 mi. and runs like a champ, maybe for another 100,000.
Get a estimate and then make up your mind.
