None, the abs (Antilock Braking) system is an addition to the basic braking system and applies or removes pressure to the brakes when the abs sensors at the wheels advise a lock up or turning. This gives you cadence braking without having to apply and release the brake pedal yourself. This allows the vehicle to be steered while under hard braking conditions and prevents wheel lock and skidding.
You will however have to remove the electrics as the abs warning light will be on all the time.
A funny thing is that in Nova Scotia a ABS light not coming on at ign on is a fail for the inspection. The brakes are there and work but technically it is a fail. As well as ABS light coming on after self test.
Make sure all your brake lines are connected correctly to the new connections.
