is there a reverse back up system I can buy for my car? That will beep when I get close to...

Ok, as many of us may know, some of the newer car's have good reverse backing up systems, and what I mean by that is new car's have sensors that sense when you are getting very close to an object or car, and starts beeping if you are starting to get to close to it, and also some car's have cams on the back of the car to see what's behind your car when backing up, and the video is transmitted to a special rear-view mirror with some monitor in it that show's the video of the back of your car. (SO IN CONCLUSION...) What I would like to know is, can I get this stuff for my regular car I have now? Without getting a new car and without upgrading my car? Like is there at least a simple cam I can glue/tape/simply put on the back of my car, that will come with a special rear-view mirror with a monitor that will allow me to see the back of my car better?

There are back-up cameras with monitors, but don't think I've seen one that will warn you when you're getting close to something.

Object detection is accomplished with little sonar transceivers integrated into the bumper. There aren't any aftermarket back-up guidance systems because installation would be too complex and unreliable. Like the other guy said, aftermarket back-up cameras are readily available that are typically housed in a custom license plate frame, but none with object detection capabilities.
