chevy 350 v8 fits just fine in them but you need a good thick radiator to go with it.

If you could find a wrecked J120 then the engine and gearbox which is a five speed auto will give excellent performance. and fuel consumption.

How much money do you have?































Because that's the only limitation on engine size. The amount of money you can pour into it.































Want a Caterpillar motor in there? It's possible with enough money lol.































You'll have to be more specific as to your end goals, what will you be using it for, how much you plan on spending, if you want Gas or Diesel, or even Propane?































Your options are limitless.

f*** the ford engine, you can fit the chevy 5.7 350 V8, or the new tundra 5.7 V8. i would recommend those two for the increase in size and power. or any size in between but the tundra and chevy 350 are the best bet, easier and more common for people to install them, especially the 350
