Default WHY DOES MY 2006 TOYOTA COROLLA SOUND LIKE IT DOESN'T GO INTO OVERDRIVE...?
WHEN I DRIVE ON THE FREEWAY DOING 75 IT SOUNDS LIKE IT'S RUNNING TO HARD, THE RPM'S ARE AT ABOUT 3,000... WHAT COULD CAUSE THIS...!!!

This is caused by it being a Toyota, it is probably trying to kill itself.

If the car wasn't in over drive it would be revving harder than 3,000.















Assuming your driving an automatic corolla, then it should be about right.















Also the road could be driving in elevations, Are you going uphill?















My 2006 automatic corolla is at about 2800-3000 rpm when doing 75 mph, at 80 it would be closer to 3000 rpm.
