well first off, check and see what the ACTUAL year of the celica is. i have a 2004 and they stopped making them in 05. so no way its an 06. the celica will be cheaper depending if its the gt (1zzge) or the gts (2zzge). the gt will be cheapest. the gts is a better deal than the tC. the tC's have great transmissions. ive owned a celica and test drove several tC's and i would say a celica gts is the far best deal. the celica gt and scion tC are about equal, so it just depends on which body you like. also, insurance is going to be the same on both. the celicas have better resale value too.
