Toyota 22re shakes and wants to turn off?
My truck has been acting funny after running it on the freeway for a sustained amount of time I notice no difference until I get off the freeway and reach a stop the idle will drop from the normal 800 rpm to 500 or 250 rpm it will shake and sound (sounds like an older carbd v8) very similar to when it is running on 3 cylinders only difference is that it will accelerate fine without struggling. I thought it could be the idle speed but If I manually hold the idle at 800 or even 1k rpm it will still shake more then normal and sound funny. But after I drive it around slowly then stop it will idle fine.
I have no idea when it had it's last tune up. I also have zero experience with older style coils.
