...reasonable? I just got my car yesterday but Texas state require you to have a insurance before you drive out; so i got it online with Progressive; however, it provided my with a quote of 2300~/6 month with minimum coverage. this is reasonable? or i should change another company?

A new car is going to be expensive I guess for a younger driver, but that sounds pretty rough. What is your car payment, like $300/month? That insurance quote you gave is about $400/month on top of your car payment...































I would shop around, getting quotes doesn't hurt. Usually also cheaper if you are on your parents' policy, if that is an option.

Yea it's kinda high but that's what happens when a company make cars that have to be recalled all the time. The insurance companies know they are likely to get stuck gas pedals and have brake failures, both destroy the car and result in high lawsuits that the insurance must pay so due to Toyota having so many quality issues it is expensive to insure them. YOU are paying for Toyota's quality problems.































I always get thumbs down in here and mostly by a lady calling herself "Toyota Obsession" she has dozens of accounts for it so i'm hoping for at least 12 thumbs down from her this time.....I think the record is 22 so far.
