All of these are fair answers but I would have to say that it depends on the year and condition. These should easily get another 100-200,000 miles if it was properly maintained. Generally it's not the 200,000 miles that causes other stuff to go bad outside of engine and tranny- it's age. I've seen more than a handful of 2000 and newer Toyotas with over 300,000 milwes on them that have never needed anything outside of normal wear and tear items being replaced and regular maintenance. A 2007 car with 200,000 miles will still has parts that have a few years left in them. If this RAV was well maintained, you could be looking at 400,000 miles easily. However, age place a big role there. BTW, you can get some cars for $3500 with low miles but they are either super old or they have terribly low resale value- which usually means that they are undesireable (and consequently, unreliable) begin with.
