...Avalon? My Im? My Import Specialist Mechanic says my Check Engine Light is a Air Filter Fuel Ratio sensor and he can fix and install for about $300.00 even...I'm laid off...can I do myself without much problem?...what will I need tool wise and where do I start? HELP!!!!
Air Fuel sensor is just like a O2 sensor. It is in the Exhaust, depending on which one one is easy one is under the motor between the fire wall and the exhaust, kinda pain to get to.
You will need a special socket or a 22mm wrench for some.
That's way to much you can do it and it will be cheaper and its not hard. go to your local auto parts store and buy the parts they should be able to tell you where those parts are. they are really easy to find and easy to Change I cant really tell you what tools you are going to need because Im not in-front of the motor but nothing especial well you might hae to buy a socket i think they are only like $5-$10 or you can do it with other tools you decide.
