Is a Toyota Venza a good car for someone going to college?

My mom wants to buy a Toyota for my first new car when I go to college. Do you think the Venza is a good car for an 18 year old? I do understand that is a more high end car compared to something like a corolla.

No!!! it isn't a good car for someone going to college to answer the question.

Now here are the reasons.

ESPECIALLY since you may be African American judging by your Avatar.

In the link you will see that the Japanese Prime Minister made this remark and HAS NOT bothered to apoligize for it.

"Education levels in the United States were held back by blacks, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans."

Toyota has gone too far down in quality also so the answer is still no.

I support and encourage the boycott for this horrible remark.

Yes the answer by the Raven does use an old article BUT remember that there was NEVER an apology or retraction by Japan.

The Venza is a truly horrible car. It rides rough, is loud inside from poor insulation, and is defective like all other Toyotas. There's more cheap plastic inside it than a bubble gum machine from a candy store. As far as the black issue goes and Toyota...no self respecting black person would be seen in a Toyota.

I'm going to skip the racial ignorances, cause for Toyota like any car manufacturer: You are meat with money.

I test drove the Venza, didn't like it one bit. One noticeable part was my blind spots were a lot smaller when I compared it to my Corolla, which can't be good for a young driver like yourself when you'll probably want to see what's around you. Something about the size of the windows. If you're still looking into Toyota, and looking for the roomy-ness similar to the Venza, check out the Matrix, maybe even the xB Scion if you're feeling square.
