Well first off is it a yaris or a prius because it does make a difference (hybrid, non-hybrid) A Yaris, (non hybrid) Needs its oil changed every 5000 Miles or 5 months at that time you should probably get your tires rotated as well. a prius should get the same service only at 7500 miles or 7-8 months. Both vehicles get major services every 15000mi and 30000mi both of which are more then your average oil change and tire rotation, also its a good idea to do alignments every 15000-25000mi to make your tires last longer. No car should EVER go for 3 years without any service, heck I would say not even 9 months and thats for a hybrid vehicle. Hope this helps you.
