Lose electrical when ignition off
I have a 99 Camry with the following issue - any ideas? Since yesterday, when the ignition is off, I lose all power to the car - power locks don't work, clock stops, no lights, etc. When I turn the key part way, everything functions, and the car does start every time. When the car is started, the clock actually picks up where it left off (has the time from when the vehicle was last used). Any thoughts?
This started after I tried replacing the dome light. The bulb went on itnitially, and shut off the light. I then moved the bulb to center it in the slot, after which it wouldn't turn on. I pulled some fuses to check them, and believed all were fine and put back in properly.
Only other electrical problem I know of is that a DC power cord I used a couple times is a little wide - when I pulled it out of the 12V socket, it moved the metal tube out a little. I thought I put it back in the same place, but it no longer received power. (any help on that would be appreciated, too)...
