Take the MAF sensor off the vehicle, buy MAF cleaning spray from any local parts store. Spray the filaments inside if the sensor to remove any dirt/dust that has baked on to the sensor, put it back together. Do not touch the filaments on the sensor, you could break them and then you will have to buy another sensor

I've never had to clean a MAF sensor, even living in dusty Arizona as I do. MAF sensors go through a cleaning cycle when the engine is started, heating the sensor wire with high current to burn off deposits. Because the MAF sensor is normally located just after the air cleaner there should be very little to clean off.
