05 Corolla: Did I Get a Good Deal ? Anything I should know?
After passively scouting around for a decent used car for our daughter, I stumbled onto a Craigslist ad that sounded too good to be true (1 owner, little old lady):
2005 Toyota Corolla, 18,000 miles, $8000. It checked out on Carfax, so we bought. Other than some scuffs/scratches it's just about like new. Didn't have it checked by a mechanic because owner had dealer check it out the day before, & had records/proof. We've run it a couple hundred miles with no problems. I'm wondering if there are any known problems with this model that I should be looking for? Hope we weren't too hasty in buying it.
