is it possible to get a gps in a prius second generation??















And if you have a third generation with gps inside how much do you pay a month? aproximately?

Maybe, I am not sure if a global positioning satellite would fit in the car However the 2G (NHW20) Prius does have an optional DVD based GPS navigation system. The map DVD drive is under the driver's seat on cars so equipped."And if you have a third generation with gps inside how much do you pay a month? approximately"































There is no recurring charge for the navigation system beyond possibly coughing up a few hundred dollars every few years to buy an updated map DVD, however this is optional. How much the option affects your car payment is another story.

GPS is available, but if you didn't get your car with it as a factory installed option, you will need to get one installed, or buy a separate unit.































There is really no monthly charge in using a GPS itself. If you buy a separate unit, these tend to have extra prices for traffic update subscriptions.

Some 2G models came with a navigation system. Adding a factory system to an existing car is not practical due to the expense--more than just the navigation system has to be added, for instance the wiring harness would also have to be changed as well as the central display.































There is no monthly charge for these system in any generation of Prius.































If you already have a Prius without a navigation system, you'll have to either get a handheld one or use the one on your iPhone.
