If its that most recent one, then it has a modified 5.7L V-8.

The same V-6 as the other Tacomas.































4.0-liter 1GR-FE































The main difference between the XRunner and other Tacomas is the Suspension. It's 1 inch lower than a Stock 2WD Tacoma. It also comes with a Body Kit and some extra Frame Bracing to stiffen it up.

It has the large block V6.















TRD makes a supercharger for Toyota engines















I had one installed on my















V6 Pre-Runner and that supercharger is great.















TRD also makes a lot of other goodies for Toyotas.















Toyota dealers have TRD catalogues, or you can access them on-line















at Toyota Racing and Development.
