There's no reason why the question would even be discussed.
Investigations are showing most of the incidents involving Toyota were "driver error"
or in a few cases fraud in order to make some money.
Also there are millions of Toyotas on US roads with satisfied owners.
(have your noticed the latest recalls on BMW. Mercedes, VW and even Rolls/Bentley).
Toyota employs thousands of US workers, is a major contributor to community organizations
and educational scholarships. I've purchased 11 Toyotas over 35 years and can attest to
their reliability. The only major repair I had over all those years was replace a waterpump
on a 17 yr old Camry with 90k.
