Question for 7th Gen Celica Guru's?
I've got a 2000 Celica GT-S. I bought it from california so It was adjusted however need be to meet CARB specs. It has a receipt of a pass on emissions test too. The car has Injen cold-air intake and a rear muffler. My question lies with the Intake, on the hose going to the throttle body (vacuum) there is a "T" fitting with a small diameter rubber hose which went somewhere back by the firewall but it came off and I can't find where it goes. I looked on the install pics direct from Injen and they show that hose as not having a "T" at all. My guess is it has something to do with the California stuff. I've been getting misfire codes even after replacing all plugs and checking all coils. The symptoms indicate vacuum leak but I've plugged the vacuum side of that random small hose so no air is getting in there. Would it be caused by whatever the hose is supposed to go to? Thanks for any help, It is much appreciated.
