why does my 2008 toyota corolla ride rough?

Default why does my 2008 toyota corolla ride rough?
When I drive my Toyota Corolla, I can feel every bump and pot hole on the road. I don't know much about cars. I want to know why my corolla rides rough and when i ride in a 2008 nissan altima, the altima rides soooo much smoother where i dont feel any bumps or potholes when i drive over them!!!! do i need to replace the suspension on my corolla or something??? thanks.

no its completly normal its just the way they made the suspension. Honda civics are like that too

Your Toyota needs either struts, or shocks--or both. Shocks and struts are a very common defect in most Toyotas although Toyota will deny this as fiercely as they did Engine sludge failures, Acceleration failures, Transmission failures, steering failures and defective steering in Corollas, rust and excessive corrosion on under body, defective and chipping paint, Electronic brake failure, etc, etc, etc. Good luck. Toyota charges a BUNDLE to fix their highly superior vehicles.

Nope, that's normal. Toyota Corollas have such cruddy suspension because of all the cost cutting they do to make more profits. They might as well not even have a suspension system if they're that cheap.

You have to buy American or European for quality.

I would check your air pressure in the tires, If it is to high the ride will be rough.















Set them 32 to 35 PSI.
