All with the same Toyota defects

Yes Toyota owns Daihatsu. In response to everything else said, HOGWASH!! Number one car company in recent rating is Scion- which is Toyota as well.

Yup it sure does. Toyota motor corp sells Scion and Lexus in the U.S. It also owns part of daihatsu and hino cars as well as a small portion of subaru cars.

Yes. Practically all Daihatsu models are originated from Toyota, with some comestic changes to the exterior.

Yep they own it. Toyota also owns majority stakes in Daihatsu and Hino, and 8.7% of Fuji Heavy Industries, which manufactures Subaru vehicles. If you still have Daihatsu repair questions dont hesitate to ask.
