To those who have owned both, how do you compare your Toyota/Honda to your Ford/Chevy?

Default To those who have owned both, how do you compare your Toyota/Honda to your Ford/Chevy?
I have owned both in the past (currently own a 2010 Ford Escape).































I bought the truck because my wife and I needed a larger vehicle for the next few years, however after owning it for only 6 months, and seeing how nice it is, I can already say with confidence that I will never buy another Toyota/Honda again.































My other car was a 2005 Toyota Celica that I had nothing but problems with.































Do the '10 models still have the same problems? is Toyota catching up with American or European cars or are they still lagging behind??

NO offense, but you cant fairly compare an Escape to a Celica... A Rav 4 to an escape is a much better comparison.































I can speak from the large sedan perspective. Drove a 2003 camry, then got into a 3006 chrysler 300































The chrysler was more powerful, and better on gas... Neither of them needed any repair. Both great cars.

I have owned GM and Toyota and Ford. At the present time. Ford wins by a landslide in build quality. If something goes wrong with my Ford. they fix it. When something went wrong with my Toyota, they blamed it on me, and made me pay for it. With toyota, it's always the drivers fault, never Toyotas.
