Toyota Camry Side Mirror?

I have a crack on my right side mirror of my 07 toyota camry. How much is it usually to replace? Since only the mirror is cracked and everything else is fine, is this something I can replace myself? If yes, where can I find the parts and the instructions?

I own a 2007 Camry also. Judging from my previous esperience in ordering

Parts such as these, you must buy the entire unit. Those mirror units have

grown complicated, and the 2007 has a heating element involved (I know the XLE does)

If you have a good relationship with a dealer, they'll often work with you

on price, including labor. Call your dealer and explain what happened.

I would guess in the $200 to 300 price range. Again, if your a good cutomer,

I've found they always cut me a deal, even on labor.

Did you purchase the additional Patinum Warranty? It seems to cover everything.

According to the site I would include here its around $130 - $150 dollars. I believe the instillation of the part is easy and you may want to consult the internet for further instructions but in the product sold on the site they have included some install instructions.

You can either go to the dealer and pick up the unit, which typically costs a bit of money. If you head over to the parts department, you can see if they can pull up and single out just the mirror which usually has the harness attached to it.

Another method is to see if there's a junkyard near your area, call them and see if there's any Camry's that were wrecked/hit in an area other than the mirror. Some places will pull the part for you, or you can pull the parts yourself. That's a bit cheaper, and requires more work on your part.

Definitely something you can replace yourself given you've got a set of tools and you've got some understanding of how the pieces bolt together.
