Probably worn valve seals. Unless the car is using just a bunch of oil or starts smoking all of the time it's pretty harmless. Some people will argue that they should be replaced immediately but I've worked on too many cars, and know better. So until you have a real oil consumption problem, leave it alone. It will be fine.

That's your engine burning oil.































If it's a grayish blue, it's definitely engine oil.































But that's normal for a Toyota.































Anything more than thick, dark smoke belching from the exhaust is normal.































Consuming a quart of oil per mile is also something most Toyota owners see in their cars.

Most likely Valve seals nothing else. Once you get it fixed your car is good for another 10 years.

The real answer is you your rings are going bad in your car. If there is smoke coming out, yes your engine is burning oil, but its going in placed where it should not be.































Need a rebuild.

you're looking you don't drive a chevy, that usually happens on them as you drive it off the lot.
