Have someone inside your car lift and and hold it lifted
Very carefully insert a butter knife into the the seam on the outside door (this is a 2 person job)
that opens toward you (not the side that is hinged)
Have the person inside gently raise and hold the lever inside up, while
you very gently pry it open. Try this several times,
then have your friend inside raise and lower the remote lever while you gently pry it open
Have a soft rag to make sure the knife doesn't scratch your paint.
It this still doesn't work, your linkage from the remote is malfunctioning
if the remote lever lifts too easily, it's probably detached itself from the CABLE
