VSC Trac and Check Engine Light RAV4 (Have codes)
Hi fellow forum users,
Last week, the check engine light and the VSC Trac light turned on, and hasn't disappeared since then (unless the engine is off).
I have a RAV4 2004, AWD.
The codes that appear in the computer are the following:
stored codes:
· p0441 $10: evaporative emission system incorrect purge flow
· p0446 $10: evaporative emission system vent control circuit
· p0455 $10: evaporative emission system leak detected (large leak)
· p2418 $10 evaporative emission system switching valve control circuit / open
pending codes:
· none
I/M readiness
· MIL status: on
· misfire monitor: ok
· fuel system mon: ok
· comp. component: ok
· catalyst mon: ok
· htd catalyst: n/a
· evap system mon: ok
· sec air system: n/a
· a/c refrig mon: n/a
· oxygen sens mon: ok
· oxygen sens htr: ok
· egr system: n/a

My questions are the following:
(1) What should I expect to hear when I actually take it to the dealer/repair shop?
(2) What does the above codes have to do with VSC (vehicle stability control) Trac?
(3) How much should I expect to pay for this?
(4) Any other insight from someone else who has had similar problems?
