Default Toyota Avalon remote engine start question..?
I just got an '07 Toyota Avalon. I can do the whole remote engine start, but as soon as I open the door, the engine cuts off. Is this normal or should the engine remain running when I open the door?

it should stay on. sounds like there might be a problem

A factory remote start will turn off the motor when you unlock the door.















It is a safety feature that will kill the motor so it cant be stolen.
