When does the timing chain in a 2004 corolla s need to be replaced?

I have heard at 90k and also 150-200k. Which is correct?

Check the Passport to Performance book that came with the car, but in general timing chains in modern Toyotas have no replacement schedule. It should last the life of the engine.

With proper maintenance the chain should never need replacing.















It will last the life of the motor.

check/call your local dealer, I've got a 2000 Camry and the owners manual states every 90k miles....and it has a timing "BELT" not a "chain" and yours has a "Belt" also
