I had this problem in a '94 Camry.















It was a relay switch.















Toyota dealer resolved problem in 15 minutes.















They didn't charge anything.















And it wasn't the same dealer I bought the car from.















I have had great service from Toyota in every dealer I've visited.

Defective electronics which control fuel injectors in Toyotas are probably the blame. Most electronics don't last in Toyotas past 10 years and usually collapse under the strain of being used. At 10 years old it is probably a good time to trade it in for a more reliable American made car like a brand new Ford Fusion which will hold its value far longer than any Camry.
