how do you replace a timing chain on a 1999 Toyota Corolla 1.8 engine ?

go to auto zone or other parts store buy maintence book only 20 bucks shows detailes instructions or go to the library and get free info

It should be a timing "belt" as opposed to an actual chain.































And if I were you, which i'm not, I'd take it to the dealer even though you know that you are being screwed. At least you would know that your engine is OK. OK?

The 99 is a Chain not a belt.















You should not need to change the chain unless you have a problem.















It is not a maintenance item.
