Sounds like you have power source problem with the battery cable. Usually the positive wire terminal (that connects to Batt +) has a large wire going to the starter - and a smaller wire going off to the fuse box. The smaller wire is the wire to power up all of the car electrical. Make sure it is properly connected tight to the battery terminal and at the fuse box. if it is losing contact at either end probably just "plugging it" gives it contact for a while. And then it loses contact.
Oh - this is pretty important - if you have a loose connection at the fuse box it can overheat and catch fire - so you want to get this fixed. That power connection may be under the fuse box and hard to get to. You may have to loosen the fuse box mounts and pick it up a bit.
