I have a 2000 Watts stereo in my 04 Toyota Celica....?

Default I have a 2000 Watts stereo in my 04 Toyota Celica....?
...When I don't drive everyday my Car doesn't start and needs a jump. WH















When I drive my Car everyday I have no problems with it starting. But if I leave it sitting a day or two I can't start it without getting a Jump. Is my Stereo draining my Battery and if so what can I do about it?

You can reduce the load on the alternator, and thus the battery, by using a large capacitor - at least 2 Farads, based on the size of your system, across the power inputs. You also need to check the draw on the battery when the ignition is off. The amplifiers are powered directly from the battery, but the power is controlled by a relay that's usually wired into the head unit or the vehicle's accessory circuit. If the amplifiers are not powering down when the ignition is off, you need to get the system rewired.

yep it's likely your main amplifier is not switching off. It's idling current draw might be as high as 5 amps, enough to run down your battery in ten hours or so. You need to wire it up correctly so it shuts off. You probably can hear some hiss coming from the speakers even with the key out. Or if you've been listening to it for too long, maybe you can't. Find somebody with unimpaired hearing, they'll tell you if there's a remnant hiss.
