All just-in-time systems require careful coordination among all the departments that interact for any particular function. In a car manufacturing firm like Toyota that means the final assembly operation has to work closely with delivery and every sub-assembly operation has to know what the needs of final assembly are. The essence of just-in-time is a seamless flow and anything that kinks that is a big problem.

The same problems that a student faces when he tries to get other people to do his work then enters the workplace not knowing a damn thing or having the ability to use google because he's ****ing lazy.

Most people have got rid of their defective Toyotas "just in time" While the Toyota lovers scurried to buy them in desperation, not wanting to believe they were inferior cars. And so,... there is no Just in Time implementation which can now save those who were foolish enough to buy a defective Toyota just because it was cheaper.
