MR2 overheating possible thermostat please help!!!!?

Default MR2 overheating possible thermostat please help!!!!?
hi guys, i have an mr2 1994 non turbo 2.0 GT import, it has been very loyal but the other day it started overheating!!















basically all fine then noticed i had no hot air in cockpit and the temp Gauge have raised, so i stopped, left it a day and managed to get it home, so next day i go for a test drive, the temp Gauge raises at a fine pace and i have hot air in the cockpit, all GOOD..... but after driving another 10 Min's i notice the cock pit air starts to get really hot and the temp Gauge rises again, so i pull over and feel the hoses by the rad but they are both cold?? im thinking it could be a thermostat jamming, but don't want to change anything till i get some views, so what do u all think ? thermostat of something else?

Sounds like the thermostat. Don't run it hot or you risk engine damage.
