Towing a 4x8 with a '96 Camry?

Default Towing a 4x8 with a '96 Camry?
I'm moving 1000 miles away and was wondering if my '96 camry will be able to tow a 4x8 trailer. I know the max weight for my tow hitch and car is 2,000lbs and ill be well under that weight limit. I wont be driving over mountains for the most part and Ill be driving on the highway for almost all of this trip. So should I be good to go? Thanks

as long as you take slow starts and smooth braking, you definitely should have no problems.\















another thing i would suggest is if your car has an overdrive engage feature or an overdrive passing gear DO NOT ACTIVATE THEM for it will cause potential damage to tranny but i would definitely suggest cruise control for it operates of low rpm hope im helpful
