What do you guys think? The car runs great new tires, brakes. The seller is an elderly guy. The only thing tgat stops me are the miles. But toyotas are reliable. What do u guys think!?

lot of miles for 3k depends on what you plan for car will do lots more miles but will need attention starter motor,alternator are main concerns always a risk you wont be able to sell when your finished with car.good luck

Talk to the seller, are those mostly highway miles? Ask him if he would mind if you had a CARFAX report run on it. If you have enough pocket change to throw at nickel-and-dime stuff as they happen go for it, Solaras are pretty resilient.

I have a 2001...with 175,000....STILL AIN'T LETTING ME DOWN. NOT ONE PROBLEM. Don't listen to those other answers as they HAVEN'T HAD A SOLARA. I traded my '96 Camry with 250,000 (YEP!) miles for this second hand Solara with 75,000 miles and have not been sorry one day. Also don't listen to that BS about Toyota being crap...like I said..I traded my Camry...I paid $1800.00 for it second-hand when I bought it, drove the crap out of it for two years, then sold it for (HONEST) $1750.00 when I bought the Solara for $7500.00. So I only LOST 50 bucks in the 2 years I had the Camry. If this deal is still available....RUN TO IT.
