where to find my corolla motor info?

Default where to find my corolla motor info?
I have looked under the hood and everywhere else but i cant find out what my 95 corolla is? i need to order a part that asking for one of the following but I have not a clue. Where can I find this info?































o 4 Cylinders A 1.6L EFI DOHC















o 4 Cylinders A 1.8L EFI DOHC































Is a big deal if I order a part (gas pump) with out knowing for sure? im thinking ill order 1.6 if I cant find out what it really is... help please??!

It should be the same part for either model, failing that call the Toyota parts department and give them the VIN number, and tell them you need a fuel pump.

i believe if the 4th digit in the vin is an A it's 1.6 and if it's a B it's a 1.8

Open the hood and look up under on the bottom side of the hood. It should have an emissions label describing what engine it is. If no label then the hood is replacement or been re-painted.















You should (?) have on the driver door or door frame a VIN label. It should have a model code starting AE101 - or AE 102. 101 is the 1600 eng, 102 is the 1800 eng.















If you have an automatic trans - the 1600 came with a 3 speed. the 1800 with a four speed.
