Default Should I buy a 2009 Toyota Camry LE?
Drive Wheels: FWD















Engine: 2.4L 4 cyl Fuel Injection















Transmission: Automatic















Mileage: 44,021































Are the recalls still legit? This will be my first car and I don't want something that will kill me. Thanks.

A camry won't kill you and you can't kill a 4 cyl. camry. If the price is right this is a car that won't have any major issues upto and past 150k miles... But it's still used and should be checked out by your mechanic.

Hi. The fact is that the 2009 Camry and those following it are some of the most unsafe cars ever manufactured in world history, based on thousands of legitimate public recalls for defective and unsafe parts, and people killed from uncontrolled accelerations. You said you don't want something that could kill you. Common sense here....Remember the police officer and his wife in California driving their two children...that vehicle accelerated out of control so violently it killed all of them instantly, the entire family. It was all over the news. ---Toyota blames these incidents on the drivers. Stay away from all Toyota. They are death, just waiting to happen.

Not one accident or death was proven by anyone. To improve rep they made parts better. Even Obama has apoligized many tiomes for media causing much harm for nothing/

Why not get a better car for the same price? Buick has better reliability, none of the recalls that Toyota has issued, and the fuel economy isn't any worse.
