Hi....I have a 2002 AUTOMATIC. Toyota Celica GT Everywhere I read it says to add more air to car and exhaust for your first step...the problem is I feel nothing from that lol...iono if its because its a automatic? I was looking at throttle body spacers thinking that might help airflow? I'm not looking to have the fastest car on the road and a turbo is too much money right now but i like to know what to do next? I have a short ram K&N intake and exhaust...(muffler..not full exhaust) Im not looking for TOP speed just looking to have more power when i take off and to be able to pass another car if I have to lol. Like I said before not looking for superchargers or Turbos...I know to make your car really fast you have to spend the money but I was wondering what be the steps to do before that? Also Im looking for stuff thats not tear the car apart to add one piece...lol Simple to hardest...lol thank you...please don't advise me to sell car either lol...where to buy it as well?
sorry, the problem is that it is an automatic, your losing a lot of horses in your torque converter. otherwise, tuning up your car to racing specs is expensive, its like having a child haha
Most horsepower per dollar for you is a combo of a good set of headers, the K&N air filter and a set of Iridium spark-plugs. Oh yeah, you will feel it. It's a bolt on 20 to 30 horses.
The throttle body spacer - no - a waste of good money.
