Default Is a 1996 Toyota Camry a good car?
My boyfriend just bought one of these cars. so far I really like it. Is there anything I should know about this car in general?































Are they known for overheating or something?

No. Get a safe and luxurious car, such as a new Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, or a BMW ..

let me start by saying yes. it's a very good car and that year was before toyota started having all kinds of problems. but like all used cars check it out good and get a carfax. but rule of thumb pre 2008 toyota good anything after not so sure.

Toyota camry are great cars. My mom has had her 1989 toyota corolla for 11 years and still runs great. I drive it as well, but I want to upgrade to a newer corolla or camry. As for overheating or any other problems, if you take good care of it, then it should last for awhile.
