Default 1999 mr2 spyder turbo?
I have recently bought a 1999 mr2 Zzw 30 spyder 1.8 . I have seen on the internet you can get turbo kits for the spyder, I am just wondering if it is possible to fit a turbo in the car I have bought and what difference it would make.

It's possible to turbo it.































A stock motor can handle 4-8psi of boost safely, and how much power you squeeze out of the motor depends on how aggressive it's tuned, and what type of turbo setup you're using. A conservative gain is 60-100hp around 6000rpm.
