Which car to buy? 03 tiburon or 2001 celica?
OK i want to tune my car out and make it fast, you know turbocharger, hi flow exhaust, etc etc. anyways.... im stuck on which one to purchase. there are only two to go with. and boh are in my price range. either a 2003 hyundai tiburon GT or a 2001 Toyota Celica GTS. ive been looking up some specs and am stumped. both cars look badass and will look great with a body kit and stuff like that.
The Tiburon is running a 2.7 litre V6 engine with 170 Hp at 6800rpm. and has 181 ft/lbs of torque at 3200rpm.
The Celica is running a 1.8 litre inline 4 engine with 180 Hp at 6800rpm and has only 134 ft/lbs of torque at 6000rpm. BUT it is also 500 pounds lighter than the tibby.
I want to know which car would be best to tune the engine on and would get me out of the hole faster. I would really love to hear your guys' imput on this situation.
