What's the last year Toyota Landcruisers had a manual transmission available?

Default What's the last year Toyota Landcruisers had a manual transmission available?
In all market regions, NOT just in the U. S.















Is it possible to retrofit a manual trans? Are the necessary hangers/brackets for attaching clutch pedal still present? Assuming I use the correct bellhousing & other bits? What parts would be needed?

I dont know the answer to your question - but i am sure i know someone who will. That is Marv Spector of Specter Off Road. He and his company have been working on Land Cruisers for over 28 years. Call them.

FJ80 had them. Very rare. They were sold in the US until 1997. But it's really hard to find them in Manual. Earlier years '91 and '92 had more than later years.































It's possible to retrofit a Manual. But it takes a lot of time and money to do so.































Most have actually come to accept the Automatic and honestly it's easier to wheel in something as large as that.































If you're determined to swap out the Manual, get a Diesel too while your at it lol.
