If you can eliminate a fuel problem that leaves an ignition problem. Check the fuel line pressure.
If this is right, then think about doing a tune up, or at least pull the plugs and make sure they are all the same type and in good condition. Replace the ignition wires and look at the distributor cap and rotor.
If that year car runs an external resistor to the coil, make sure that there are no cobwebs in it that are causing a short to ground.
Look for exhaust leaks, if the engine is running rich.
If you are running a cold air intake, make sure the filter is dry.
