1994 Supra tt will not go faster than 30 mph?

Ive had this supra for a while now and a week ago i was getting on an on ramp and while accelerating it suddenly started acting like it wasnt getting gas. i figured i had a clogged fuel filter or faulty fuel pump. i was able to dive the rest of the way home driving 20 mph ( as fast as it would go) on the shoulder. I bought a fuel filter and fuel pump and replaced them both. now it is still doing the same thing. I also drained my tank and put new gas in it thinking that maybe i somehow got water in it. After doing all this the problem still remains. I have no idea what to do. the car will start and most of the time idle pretty well but when i gas on it, it will rev up but it will crash when it goes back down and die. It just seems to not be running smoothly. and if i do try to drive it, it still wont go any faster than around 20-30 mph no matter where i have the gas pedal held. Can anyone help?

is your oil pressure light flashing on your gauge pod? it could be a bad oil pump or possibly bad injectors.

If you can eliminate a fuel problem that leaves an ignition problem. Check the fuel line pressure.

If this is right, then think about doing a tune up, or at least pull the plugs and make sure they are all the same type and in good condition. Replace the ignition wires and look at the distributor cap and rotor.

If that year car runs an external resistor to the coil, make sure that there are no cobwebs in it that are causing a short to ground.

Look for exhaust leaks, if the engine is running rich.

If you are running a cold air intake, make sure the filter is dry.
