About how many miles can a Camry go once it's on "e"?

A car uses a flotation in the fuel tank to measure how much is left. The flotation is not completely above the surface of the gasoline, so once the gauge says its empty, theres still going to be a little left under the flotation. All cars are made like that to give the driver a little leeway, so it just depends on the gas mileage.

It can be driven about 10-25 miles with a stuck accelerator pedal.

no matter if its a Camry or whatever the hll Toyota Sucks is driving. a car should not be driven on E

the fuel pump needs gasoline to cool down, soooo whenever the level is low, you are basically overheating the pump.

if you read that cr@p about waiting until the car is really Empty to save gas... make sure to get his/her phone # handy. you might have to call and ask for repair $$.

it is true that a full gas tank is heavier and that the car will use more gasoline to move all that weight. but saying that its OK to drive on E is plain idiotic and irresponsible.

keep the car above 1/4, although I would try to keep it at 1/2 tank all the time. if you don't need to be driving for 4hrs straight, no need to have the whole tank full.
