Default Is a toyota a american car now or not ?
Because I've heard it now is a american company. It was supposed to be transferred from Tokyo to LA but is that true.

well its still a Japanese brand but most r made in America. the old adage is that American cars are made overseas while Japanese and Korean cars are generally made here in the states. Notice how some foreign car commercials pride themselves on being built in America

Well, Think about this. Although it is a Japanese company, There are toyota factories in America putting Americans to work. And toyota dealers putting more Americans to work (ie:sales, parts and mechanics) Plus the last time I checked toyota was or is the number one selling car in America.

Main Headquarters in Japan; but some are built in the U.S. So maybe 50/50.

No. Toyota's HQ is located in Toyota City, Japan. You'll hear that the CARS are made in America.

Japanese and even when they they assemble them in America they send 80% of the profit to Japan so it doesn't help the American economy if you buy one.
