Default is it possible to swap a toyota 3vz-fe with a 4age?
i can get a good deal on a 4age. my 93 camry 3.0 has a blown engine. just wondering if this swap bolts in or requires new mounts and such

Anything is possible mechanically, your main problem is going to be the wiring and electronics, stick to the original type

No. Mounts, transmission, electricals, etc. will all have to be retrofitted. Just order what it needs and save yourself the grief.

Im gueesing you figured it a no go as far as a drop swap is concerned,off the top of my head you'd need engine mounts, wiring loom, cooling system adaptors, mabey drive shafts, exhaust manifold and all the connections in the engine bay. plus you'd be dropping a bit of power and weight so I imagine it would be a bit slower... in other words a like for like replacement ids soo much easier and cheaper in the long run!
