You are being lied to. The extra $1500 will go directly into their pocket. 0% financing is 0% financing, and adding $1500 to get it sounds illegal to me. Toyota dealers are notorious for cheating customers, then lying and convincing you that you got a good deal. In my experience of owning a Toyota..it usually means you get cheated bad somewhere along the line. Tell them to take a hike, and that unless they drop the $1500 padding, you will immediately leave their door, and go directly to Ford and buy a new Fusion, which is guaranteed to hold its value over the next three years BETTER than a Camry. And that is a fact. Because by all consumer reports, a Fusion is a better car for less money than a Camry. They just might change their tune and drop the $1500--that is if you really want that Camry over a fabulous Fusion. Good luck!
