1999 Sienna and replacing the two bucket seats with one bench?

I have a 1999 Toyota Sienna, and in the middle (second seats) there are two captain seats (bucket seats) that basically seat two. I'd like to replace this with a bench seat, and I'm curious if this can be done.

I've already contacted Toyota service, and they won't touch something like this due to liability issues, so I'm curious what options are available to have something like this done? Could a body shop do something like this, and is it advisable?)

Start cruzzing for a like model in a junk yard with the middle seat you want, then check-it out to see if the floor mounts between the two types of seats are the same. If the floor mounting points are the same, buy the seat & bolt it down. There is a liability issue when you mess with factory seats, but it the bench seat bolts to the same mounts as the buckets, you are okay.
