Default Does anyone know how to turn on 4 wheel drive in a 2004 Toyota Highlander?
In the owner's manual it says that it will automatically turn on when it senses the need, no one else with 4wd has ever heard of this. There is a snow button you can push but I do not think that is it.

Hey, It's actually not 4wd even tough it says it. I have a 2002 Highlander "4wd" as well and I was asking myself the same question as you. A 4wd car has a Hi and Low range. These don't so I was told it was a Automatic Full time AWD. Must be poor Japanese translation HAHA...
